This contemporary pond exemplifies the concept of minimalism. The customer desired something that would complement their home's existing environment, which incorporates simple design elements.

One of the objectives of this project was to use Koi fish as the focal point of the entire design. With the notion of utilizing black pebbles to balance the background in order for the fish to be the initial point of contact for spectators, this allowed for a symbolic approach that gives the pond's design a romantic appeal.

The eventual name for the Pond was Tranquility because to its equilibrium and the potential serenity it may bring to people who would appreciate it.
